At Common Ground, our mission is to connect people to the abundant life only found through an abiding relationship with Christ Jesus. We believe this includes going and making “disciples of all nations” as we have been commissioned to do in Matthew 28:18-20. But “how then will they call on him in whom they have not believed? And how are they to believe in him of whom they have never heard? And how are they to hear without someone preaching? And how are they to preach unless they are sent? As it is written, ‘How beautiful are the feet of those who preach the good news’!” (Romans 10:14-16). The Gospel truly is the good news our world desperately needs to hear, so we invite you to be part of what God is doing through Common Ground to reach those who have never heard the name of Jesus. We invite you, through prayer and giving, to send these beautiful feet to the ends of the earth for His glory and our joy. To find out more about this mission and our partners click here.
Hi everyone! We are Kim and Jeremy Aleman and we both feel so blessed to have the opportunity to serve God’s kingdom in Thailand. We both feel called to serve on this trip mainly due to necessity. There are a very small percentage of Christians in the area we are visiting and one of the best things we can do is offer spiritual support to local churches primarily through prayer walks. We feel and see the need that the community has for this type of outreach and are excited to offer to others what God has given us in our lives. Neither of us has had much world traveling experience, so being able to see such an exotic portion of God’s creation and introduce Jesus and the gospel to so many who may not have been exposed is an exciting opportunity. Getting to experience the cultural and spiritual day to day life of being on mission for God’s glory in Thailand all the while cultivating new faith will truly be a once in a lifetime experience. Our biggest hope throughout this mission is to see God use our presence and prayer to uplift the Christian population that is currently there while also laying the groundwork for future missions that may reap the benefits of the seeds we plant.
We are Adam and Noa Blann. A father and daughter blessed in this opportunity to support our brothers and sisters far away in Thailand with encouragement, prayer, help, and joy in gospel proclamation. We know and pray God will use us to glorify Him and accomplish what He has planned by reflecting His love to our worldly neighbor near and far. In faith and joy, we are committing to this mission. We are thankful to take part in going physically to proclaim the good news of Jesus and pray that others will be blessed in helping to send us. We ask that as God leads you, you’ll pray for us and the people we will meet on the journey and consider a financial contribution for our team. We are excited to experience and share how the Holy Spirit will change our hearts and lives.
